Thermal-analysis

Simultaneous Thermal analysis(SDT) and testing service

Shanghai Jituo Hi-tech provide SDT(DSC-TGA)testing services. Simultaneous thermal analyzer can be used for the determination of specific heat capacity, crystallinity, Tg, and degradation rate.

TGA/DSC Simultaneous Thermal Analysis

TGA/DSC simultaneous thermal analysis integrates Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) in the same instrument to synchronously monitor mass changes (TGA) and heat flow changes (DSC) of samples under programmed temperature control. It is used to determine the glass transition temperature, cold crystallization, specific heat capacity, thermal stability, degradation rate, and chemical changes of test materials.

Principle of TGA/DSC Simultaneous Thermal Analysis

A technique for measuring the mass and heat flow of a sample as functions of temperature or time under programmed temperature control.

Instrument Model

  • Mettler-Toledo TGA/DSC 1
  • Instrument Technical Parameters• Temperature range: Room temperature to 1400°C • Temperature accuracy: ±0.01°C • Heating rate: 0.1–100°C/min

Sample Requirements and Packaging

• Solid or liquid, 20–100 mg in a plastic centrifuge tube. • Samples should not contain low-boiling solvents or water. • Samples must not explode or generate highly toxic gases within the test temperature range.
